Its jurisdiction extends to the five districts of Gulbarga, Bidar, Raichur, Bellary and Koppal of Hyderabad Karnataka. The University enrols about 3500 students every year for various post-graduate, M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes in various disciplines.
